The absolute highlight of this week was performing The Changing Room in the Everyman Studio on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Having performed on a much wider stage at Henley Bank last week, it was fun adapting the piece for the more intimate space in the studio, but the play itself is perfect for a smaller space. It allowed our performers to get up close and personal with the audience, leading to some funny, and possible slightly uncomfortable, moments as teenage characters confronted parents about the journey that is adolescence. Both performers were a huge success, and we received some wonderful feedback. The play has been an absolute joy to work on, and we look forward now to taking it to The Egg, which is part of the Theatre Royal, Bath, for the next stage in our National Theatre Connections journey. We’ll be there on Thursday 15th March – tickets available here.
